Could This Be You?

  • You set a goal (maybe to lose weight, quit smoking or make more money)
  • You developed a plan
  • And then MAYBE you took some action!

And then somewhere along the line everything came to a stand still!!

WHAT GIVES!?

It’s not that you don’t want your goals – of course you do.

Why wouldn’t you want to be healthy, or make more money, or have a great relationship?

But something keeps getting in the way and it either keeps you from starting or keeps you from continuing or keeps you from finishing - but there is something that is getting in the way of you having what you say you want!!

Some call it hitting a wall, or stepping outside of your comfort zone. What ever “it” is it’s keeping you from either taking action or taking consistent actions – the kind of actions that will truly change your life and create the life you dream of.

Two Choices When You Hit the Wall

You have two choices when it comes to getting and staying in action - You either "Muscle Through" or you "Remove the Barriers".

1. The Muscle Through Approach

You have more than likely tried this approach on several different occasions because at first it does work! Heck, anyone can get themselves to do something once or twice and maybe even for a month or so BUT you won’t sustain those actions and here’s why. The reason it works initially is because you waited until you were experiencing some pain (extra weight, being in debt, poor health) and now taking action is your way of avoiding the potential (either real or imagined) of more pain. But once you’re out of the danger zone you lose the driver (pain) that was getting you into action. Essentially your actions are dictated by avoiding pain!!

What's wrong with that?

Well first of all your focus has to be on what could "potentially" cause you pain and you are savvy enough to know that the Law of Attraction works to bring you more of what you are focused on. Yikes! And second of all when you’re focused on avoiding pain you are not in a state of gratitude, or bliss, or anticipation – all of the feelings that work for us to attract what we desire.

2. The Remove the Barriers Approach

Most people have a belief that if they could understand why they procrastinate or why they don't sustain action once they get it started THEN they will free themselves of these damaging patterns and have the success they desire. The problem with this logic is again they have to focus on what it is they don’t want (the weight or debt) as if knowing alone is going to change the behavior.

That doesn't work...

Have you ever done something you shouldn’t even though you know better?! Have you ever eaten something you know will make you feel bad, or spent money you know you didn’t have? Of course you have! Who hasn’t?!

What really works is...

Releasing the pattern at the point of origin – when you remove the barrier, or stuck energy pattern, you allow yourself to have emotional freedom. When you apply the EFT tapping to the charged thoughts that are sustainint the old patterns you release the stuck energy and remove the barriers to achieving your goals.

Sounds too simple to be true!

I know!! I said the same thing!!

But isn’t that just another belief we’ve bought into?

That it has to be hard, difficult and take a long time to be good – that if it’s simple, rather painless, and relatively quick it can’t be worth much?!!
